A conservator’s workflow
Useful restraint, measured in three passes
Generic enhancers hide their choices. Choir Cleanup ties each adjustment to a passage, preserves the source, and writes down exactly what changed.
- 01
Place the sources
Open the recording and a MusicXML or PDF score map. MusicXML rehearsal marks become editable timing suggestions.
- 02
Rule the passages
Drag over the waveform, name sections in choir language, and compare source with restrained cleanup.
- 03
Seal the pack
Confirm rights, then export labeled WAVs, a machine-readable manifest, and a plain-language edit receipt.
A clear boundary
No invented voices.
No black-box “restoration.”
This app uses ordinary, inspectable audio filters: rumble roll-off, a small presence lift, gentle dynamics, optional hum notches, and a soft hiss ceiling.
It does not clone singers, reconstruct lost sound, or promise SATB isolation. It makes an honest rehearsal aid from what is actually on the tape.
